Sony MAX to show ‘Aashiqui 2’ in July

Multi Screen Media has acquired the rights of this year’s superhit musical hit ‘Aashiqui 2’ and will broadcast it on its movies and events channel, Sony MAX in July.

The film, which stars Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor is about Rahul who loses his fans and fame due to alcoholism. But he then decides to turn a small time singer into a rising star.

‘Aashiqui 2’ was given a limited release and opened up only in some countries (excluding UK).

‘Aashiqui 2’ will be shown on Sony MAX on Sunday 28th July at 21:00.
