Sony MAX to broadcast Pakistan & Australia cricket series in UK

Sony Pictures Networks (UK) has confirmed to BizAsiaLive.com that it has acquired the exclusive telecast rights of the upcoming Pakistan and Australia One Day International cricket series, later this month.

The five matches will be played in U.A.E starting from Friday 22nd March until Sunday 31st March 2019. All matches will be shown on Sony MAX (including HD) in UK.

Sony MAX has been on a winning streak recently in UK ratings, it currently sits at No.1 in the movie genre (BARB: week ending Sunday 3rd March 2019) on the back of a strong movie schedule. It will also be launching Sony MAX 2, a new classic Bollywood movie channel soon.
