Sony MAX 2 launches on Sky in UK

Sony Pictures Networks has strengthened its bouquet of channels in the UK, with the launch of Sony MAX 2 on the Sky platform.

Sony MAX 2 is officially the only channel in the UK dedicated to classic Bollywood film titles. The channel will broadcast movies from the 60s to the 2000 period. Sony MAX 2’s classic film mandate will give sister channel, Sony MAX a focus on newer films, as well as recent movie premieres.

Sony MAX 2 launched on Sky channel 736 this morning. It replaced music channel, Sony Mix, which shutdown after nearly two years.
