Sony issues statement on merger with ZEE: “We expect completion within few months”

The merger between ZEE and Sony will be taking a little more longer, according to a statement issued by Sony Pictures Networks India.
The merger was expected to be complete this year but it now seems this won’t happen for a few more months due to the legal complexities involving ZEE.
In a statement, Sony said, “This transaction was expected to be completed by the end of the first half of fiscal year 2023, but based on the current state of preparation, we expect completion within the next few months.”
