Sony confirms telecast of Filmfare Awards 2016

Sony Pictures Networks has confirmed that it will be broadcasting this year’s Filmfare Awards in February.

BizAsia can exclusively reveal that one of Indian film fraternity’s biggest nights will be aired on Sunday 7th February at 19:00 (including Red Carpet) on Sony Entertainment Television Asia. It will then be repeated on Sony MAX on Sunday 28th February.

Filmfare Awards 2016 took place in Mumbai earlier this month. They were hosted by Shah Rukh Khan. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ stole the night with the most awards. Performances included Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon.
