Sony & B4U get new CEO’s

After a relatively quiet period for Sony and B4U, the channels have seen some major changes at the top in terms of management. Firstly, Neeraj Arora has been named Vice-President for International Business, Sony Entertainment Television Asia, it was announced today by Rajan Singh, Executive Vice-President for International Business. Singh commented, “Neeraj is a seasoned TV executive who truly understands the nature of the international South Asian pay-TV sector. He is very well equipped to deal with the demands of a very competitive environment and I?m sure that with him on board our international business will continue to go from strength to strength.”

Prior to his appointment, Arora was Senior Vice-President for International Business Development at the B4U Network primarily responsible for the channel?s European, Middle Eastern and African operations. Before this, he was employed at Zee Network where he was responsible for the channel?s distribution and marketing in the UK and Europe and also oversaw the channel?s migration from analogue to digital satellite.

Over at B4U Network, Sunil Rohra (Ex-CEO of ZEE TV), has taken over the reins of B4U Network UK as its CEO and wasted no time in doing so. Having finished at ZEE last Friday (30th July), Rohra becomes the CEO of B4U Network UK as of today. Sunil Rohra had been with ZEE TV in UK for 10 years and had been the CEO of ZEE for the last 2 ? years. Rohra turned ZEE into a very profitable company and established ZEE as the market leader in the Asian market.
