Sony announces schedule for Holland Cup cricket series

As Biz Asia announced last month, Sony Entertainment Television Asia has secured live & exclusive rights to broadcast the triangular cricket tournament from Amstelveen in Holland featuring Australia, India & Pakistan next month. Coinciding with this news, the channel has released schedule information as to when the exclusive matches will be screened.

Rajan Singh, Executive Vice President, SET Asia commented on the latest coup for the channel. “Sony Entertainment Television Asia has had a history of bringing top quality cricket to UK & European television screens and this summer is no different. Australia, India & Pakistan are three giants of world cricket and will provide great entertainment for thousands of fans who subscribe to the channel.”

The tournament starts on August 21st and concludes with the final on the 28th. Each team will play the other once and all four games will take place in the VRA Ground in Amstelveen.

The schedule (subject to change) is as follows:

Saturday 21st August – India v Pakistan (8.30am GMT)
Monday 23rd August – Australia v India (8.30am GMT)
Wednesday 25th August – Australia v Pakistan (8.30am GMT)
Saturday 28th August – Final (8.30am GMT)
