Sonu Sood to hold special ‘Kung Fu Yoga’ screening for PM Modi

It’s no secret that Sonu Sood had been planning his big Indo-Chinese project ‘Kung Fu Yoga’ with Jackie Chan for a while now. With the film now all set and ready, news has it that the actor wants to show the film to non other than India Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“I am planning to arrange a screening for him (Modi). However, with elections in February, I know everyone is busy. But I’ll make it happen,” Hindustan Times reports Sood explaining.

Director Stanley Tong and Chan had visited India where Sood arranged their whole trip, which has caused much excitement for not only his friends and family, but also the rest of the Indian Film Fraternity. However, the actor understands that his success is all down to the blessing of his parents. “One and a half years ago, when I shared the news of this film with my father, he was extremely excited. I was happy to be working with Jackie Chan, but my father was even more excited. Unfortunately, I lost him last year. On February 7, it will be a year since he expired, and I genuinely think that all this has been possible due to his blessings. I owe it all to him,” Sood expressed.

Also starring Amyra Dastur, Aarif Rahman and Disha Patani, ‘Kung Fu Ypga’ is set to hit the big screens on 3rd February 2017 in India.
