Sonam, Rhea, Anil Kapoor join hands for ‘Khubsoorat’ remake

After working together in 2010 for the film ‘Aisha’, news has it that sisters Sonam and Rhea Kapoor will be working together again for the remake of the Rekha starrer ‘Khubsoorat’ (1980).

Like ‘Aisha’, Hindustan Times��report how Sonam will be playing the lead role and��her sister, along with their father Anil Kapoor, will be producing the film under production banner Anil Kapoor Films Company. A source close to the Kapoor family states, “They (Anil and Rhea) feel that she has the same girl-next-door charm that Rekhaji was loved for in the original.”

It has been reported that the film is due to go on floors in 2013. “It will kick off only after Sonam wraps up work on Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra�۪s film with Farhan Akhtar) and Raanjhnaa (Anand Rai�۪s film with Dhanush, which releases next year),�۝ confirmed the insider.
