Sonam Kapoor was the original choice for ‘Mirzya’?

Sonam Kapoor’s brother Harshvardhan is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Mirzya’, but Mehra had reportedly first approached Sonam for the project.

Filmfare reports that Mehra had cast Sonam for the project years ago, but could not find the right actor to cast opposite her, so the idea was scrapped.

‘Mirzya’ is slated to release on 7th October, and stars Saiyami Kher opposite Harshvardhan.
