Sonam Kapoor thinks Swara Bhaskar is underrated

The friendship shared between Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar is no secret to fans of Bollywood. The former has recently gone on record to state that her friend and colleague, Bhaskar, does not get her due.

Absolute India quote Kapoor saying, “I don’t think Swara gets her due. Last year, ‘Nil Battey Sannata’ was one of the most amazing films and her performance was outstanding. If you see these films, you will understand what a true feminist means…someone who fights for her rights. She is an incredible artiste.”

Kapoor and Bhaskar have shared screen space in films like ‘Raanjhanaa’ (2013) and ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ (2015). They will be reuniting for the big screen in Kapoor’s home production ‘Veere Di Wedding’, which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan.
