Sonam Kapoor: “Success does not make me proud”

The year has started off on a high for actress Sonam Kapoor, who has won rave reviews for her performance in last week’s release, ‘Neerja’. ��Both the film and Kapoor’s performance have been praised immensely by critics and audience alike, however, Kapoor will not allow this success to make her “proud”.

Speaking to��Deccan Chronicle, Kapoor said, “With all humility, success does not make me proud. ��Instead, I work harder. ��I try to keep my head on my shoulders. ��Whatever goes up has to come down, so I have to remain grounded. ��The credit goes to all.”

Kapoor believes filmmaking is a team-effort and in particular praises her directors.

“I’m happy that all the directors I have worked with – Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra, Anand Rai, they all like to work with me. ��In short, I’m totally a director’s actor,” the actress added.
