Sonam Kapoor rejected Indian adaptation of ‘Modern Family’?

Last year, Anil Kapoor had confirmed that his production house were working on an Indian adaptation of the popular American television series, ‘Modern Family’.�� While Kapoor himself may be seen acting in the project as well as producing, his daughter Sonam has apparently refused to essay a role in the series.

Speaking to DNA India, Anil Kapoor said, “Getting the right people to play the characters is pivotal. Sonam has already rejected it, but I am ready to play any role. I am a beggar for good roles. I have no qualms approaching a filmmaker for a role, if it is powerful.”

The show is still currently at the scripting stage and finer details, such as casting, will be finalised later.

It can be noted that Anil Kapoor is also simultaneously working on the second season of ’24’.
