Sonam Kapoor praises “gorgeous” Fawad Khan

Sonam Kapoor has been praising Pakistani television and now Bollywood sensation, Fawad Khan.

At an event to mark the premiere of their film ‘Khoobsurat’ on television, Kapoor said, “What does one say about a man who is gorgeous and gifted with magnificent acting talent? When we were looking at the casting for the character of Vikram, we needed someone who could look royal effortlessly.”

Kapoor said that Fawad’s name was centre of dinner table conversation amongst family and friends. Apparently, the actor’s name was suggested by her mother’s friends who were fans of Khan’s TV shows ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’ and ‘Humsafar’ serials. She said, “Soon he became our dinner table conversation and that’s when my sister Rhea decided to contact him for the film. And the rest as they say is history.”

She said, “Very few people know that Fawad is a funny guy in real life. They get to see his shy and intense side more often though, which we don’t mind at all.”
