Sonam Kapoor pays tribute to Rekha

At tonight’s Star Screen Awards, Sonam Kapoor is going to be performing a tribute act to Rekha, BizAsiaLive.com can confirm.

Kapoor is expected to dance to Rekha’s iconic tracks. A source told Hindustan Times, “When the organisers were looking for an actor to pay tribute to someone of Rekha’s stature, they immediately focused in on Sonam. Sonam has proved that she isn’t just about the glamour, she’s also about substance. She is known to be a fashionista herself and is the only one who probably comes close to Rekha in terms of style. So, she was the perfect fit”.

The tracks include Pyaar Do Pyaar Lo as well as Pardesiya.
