Sonam Kapoor on her next film ‘The Zoya Factor’

BizAsiaLive.com reported not long ago that Sonam Kapoor was to play protagonist in ‘The Zoya Factor’, based on a book of the same name by Anuja Chauhan. Kapoor has since spoken about the project, confirming the news.

“I have sought permission to talk about this because there has been speculation about the films I am doing. So, I am doing Zoya Factor, which is based on the book by Anuja Chauhan. And it has not been bought by my dad. It has been bought by Adlabs. It will be directed by Abhishek Sharma. It is a beautiful love story. It is about cricket, love and Zoya. I am very excited about being a part of it,” said Kapoor, as quoted by Indian Express, during a MAMI event.

The actress, who was apparently mean to star in the film adaptation of Chauhan’s ‘Battle For Bittora’, is also to be seen next in her father and sister’s home production, ‘Veere Di Wedding’.
