Sonam Kapoor happy to be romanced by Salman Khan

Sonam Kapoor and Salman Khan will be seen for the first time together in Sooraj Barjatya’s forthcoming ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. The actress has said that she has many childhood memories of Rajshri films and that she is happy being romanced by Prem – Salman Khan.

Talking to Deccan Chronicle, Kapoor commented, “I was in my teens when Vivaah released. I grew up on Hum Aapke Hai Kaun and Maine Pyaar Kiya. It�۪s amazing to be romanced by Prem”.

When speaking about working with Khan, she says, “I have already shot with Salman for 30 days for Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo. He�۪s extremely professional and has a high emotional quotient. He�۪s never rude or temperamental. He makes sure that everyone on the sets is taken care of. At the same time, he is an intelligent actor. People think he doesn�۪t put in effort but the truth is he is one of the most hardworking actors I know. He�۪s always on time. He knows all his lines and the script from start to finish.”

Kapoor is also gearing up for ‘Dolly Ki Doli’ and also ‘Khoobsurat’ which releases in the next few weeks. However, her last film didn’t do as well as expected. Kapoor candidly states, “Bewakoofiyaan did average business. It did what it was supposed to do. The film gave me a great relationship with YRF who are making very interesting films”.
