Sonam Kapoor didn’t want to work with father Anil?

Recently, the Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor starrer ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga’ was announced. It’s definitely an exciting prospect for the audiences who will see the father-daughter share the big screen for the first time. However, the former has recently revealed that his daughter wasn’t really interested in working with him.

Anil, who is coming together with Vidhu Vinod Chopra once again for the venture, told Pune Mirror, “It’s the script, somewhere it resonated with both of us. Vinod with whom I have stayed in touch, has come to me with all his scripts, from Mission Kashmir to the present one, and screens the films for me well before the release. he spoke to me about this film. Raju approached Sonam when she was shooting with him recently”.

He also went on to talk about how much Sonam’s style works with the younger audiences, “She is spontaneous, instinctive and very modern in her approach to work. That’s why there is a freshness in her work, it’s very today and connects with the audience who no longer want to see actors on screen but something real and natural”.

Anil is also all set to share screen space with his son Harshvardhan in the forthcoming Abhinav Bindra biopic.
