Sonam Kapoor confirms cameo in Coldplay’s new song video

Sonam Kapoor is no stranger to the international stage. So when news has come about that she actress is doing a cameo in a song video by British band Coldplay, it should come as no surprise.

“I love Coldplay’s music and so does the world. It was a huge honour to be a part of the video. It’s a great concept and I had a lot of fun shooting for it,” said the actress to Mumbai Mirror.

A source further added, “Sonam shot for a day last October at the Golfa Devi Temple in Worli and the Vasai fort”. Beyonce also features in the song and lends her vocals to the song.

“They zeroed in on a desi look with Sonam in a ghagra choli and wearing the traditional mang tika and a nose ring,” says the source.

Coldplay shot the song, ‘Hymn for The Weekend’, in Mumbai in October 2015.
