Sonam Kapoor Ahuja has often been at the receiving end of trolls and hateful comments on social media. The recent controversy surrounding nepotism has sparked much angst among online users. However, this time with her sister, Rhea Kapoor being the one who was targeted, Sonam was shocked to learn that one social media site didn’t act when she reported it.
Upon contacting Instagram about a death threat Rhea had received on the site, Kapoor took a screenshot of their reply.It stated that the comments did not go against their Community Guidelines and they have no reason to remove it. She then stated, “@Instagram doesn’t think death threats is a violation. Or their India team can’t read Hindi.”
She then took another screeshot of the actual comment directed at Rhea and shared, “@Instagarm seriously???? Now let’s have a look at the comment. This has happened multiple times.”
The actress then questioned the site of their morals and asked how a death threat doesn’t go against their guidelines.
