Sonali Bendre starts online book club

Social media is an integral part of celebrity life in this day and age. Sonali Bendre may no longer be active on the acting front but has started a book club on Facebook.

Speaking of the same, she told DNA, “If you can’t discuss a book with your friends after reading it, it’s boring. These days everybody leads a hectic life and when you meet, you talk about other things. But on social media there’s an information highway and everything comes fast. By forming the book club on Facebook I am marrying the old habit of reading with new technology. Here we can hangout, discuss, explore new ideas and authors.”

Bendre had penned a book of her own a few years back, titled ‘The Modern Gurukul – My Experiments with Parenting’.

She also added that her son, Ranveer, is not passionate about reading and prefers films.
