Sonakshi Sinha to play Amrita Pritam?

Over the past year, there has been much speculation as to which actress will be essaying the lead role in Ashi Dua�۪s biopic on Amrita Pritam.�� After rumours of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra having been approached for the role, it is now heard that Sonakshi Sinha has been approached and will most like accept the offer.

���Sonakshi has been approached to star in the film and in most likelihood, she will take up the offer,�۝ a source informed Mid Day.

As reported by BizAsia earlier this year, the film is tentatively titled ��Gustaakhiyaan�۪ and Irrfan Khan had been signed on as the male lead.�� However, Khan has apparently now opted out, leaving the makers to search for another to step into the role of Sahir Ludhianvi.
