Sonakshi Sinha to make singing debut in ‘Rio 2’

BizAsia reported not so long ago that Sonakshi Sinha and Imran Khan will be giving their voices to the Hindi version of Hollywood animation film ��Rio 2�۪ (2011). The latest is that the former will also be making her singing debut for the film.

Deccan Chronicle report Sinha confirming the news, ���There is a scene where Jewel (the character for which she has dubbed) is dancing and singing so they made me sing a few lines. It was a new experience, I would have even loved to sing more but unfortunately I am just a bathroom singer�۝. Sinha will be giving her voice to the character Jewel and Khan�۪s voice will be for Blu.

Talking about the experience, Sinha further added, ���I enjoyed dubbing for ‘Rio 2’ because it’s a fun film and I felt like Imran Khan (who has also lent his voice in the dubbed version) and I were perfect for the characters of Blu and Jewel�۝.

��Rio 2�۪ will release in India in 3D format on 11th April.
