Sonakshi Sinha throws lavish party for dad’s birthday

That Sonakshi Sinha is a doting daughter is well known. This was recently showcased as the actress threw a surprise party for her father Shatrughan Sinha to mark his 69th birthday.

Sonakshi is believed to have geared away from the promotions of her upcoming film ��Tevar�۪ to make sure her father had a great party. Shatrughan told Deccan Chronicle, ���I quietly slipped out of Delhi to return home to spend my birthday wth the family in Mumbai. But I got to know they had planned a ��surprise�۪ party for me at The Club in Andheri�۝.

The actor-turned ���politican spoke about the event, ���It was a such pleasure to to meet up with everyone . I normally don�۪t believe in celebrating birthdays. But this was a family effort therefore special.�۝

He also spoke about his daughter�۪s efforts, ���I am thankful that at this age when I still get so much love on my birthday. There are two stars in the family. Sonakshi is much bigger than I ever was. She�۪s so busy we hardly get to see her�۝.
