Sonakshi Sinha starrer ‘Haseena’ to begin in February 2016

Sonakshi Sinha might be gearing up for her first action film with ‘Akira’ but she is also signed to play protagonist in Apoorva Lakhia’s ‘Haseena’, a film about Dawood Ibrahim’s sister. The film is expected to go on the floors in February, BizAsia has learnt.

Box Office India report a source stating, “Apoorva wants to shoot the film in real locations as he wants to capture reality. Besides, recreating old Bombay would mean a colossal budget and shooting at real locations will save money. The film will be shot on a tight budget and will be completed in a 60-day schedule.�۝

The film will be shot in real locations and a recce has been completed.

Sinha is currently shooting for ‘Force 2’.
