Sonakshi Sinha gives Bollywood break to ‘Indian Idol Junior’ contestant

Sonakshi Sinha has taken to the small screen with the latest season of ‘Indian Idol Junior’. The actress has been very impressed with the children in the contest and news has it she’s given one of the contestants,��Nahid Afrin, a break to sing in her upcoming film, ‘Akira’.

Vishal Dadlani, who is one half of musical duo Vishal-Shekhar, is also a judge on the same show and the composers are the ones doing the soundtrack to the film. Sinha confirmed the news to Mumbai Mirror, “Yes, Nahid is one of my favourite contestants and with her confidence and passion she can record a song anytime. I requested her to sing for my upcoming movie Akira and I’m glad she’s agreed”.

Afrin herself is understandably excited, “This the best moment of my journey on the show”.
