Sonakshi Sinha only female finalised so far for ‘Dabangg 3’

Arbaaz Khan’s ‘Dabangg’ franchise is set to have a third instalment and, so far, the cast currently stands at Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, but there has been no news on who the other additional female cast members will be.

Reported on Hindustan Times, there was talk previously of Parineeti Chopra or Mouni Roy joining the team, however there hasn’t been any announcement. Asked if the cast has been finalised, Khan said the search was still in progress, “Sonakshi is definitely going to be there. Apart from her even I don’t know who will be there. We will cast according to the script, which is currently in development.”

For Khan and the rest of the ‘Dabangg’ team, they are keen to go on floors with ‘Dabangg 3’ by mid-year. But this time Khan will not be directing the film. Instead, Prabhudeva will be taking over the reins. “I am itching to direct a film. I would love to do so. Hopefully when I get something exciting, a great script which I want to direct, I will do it. As of now I’ll focus on acting and production,” added Khan.

The storyline for ‘Dabangg 3’ will be around Chulbul Pandey’s character and how he became to be the fearless police officer in Uttar Pradesh.
