Sonakshi Sinha deactivates Twitter account to “stay away from negativity”
Sonakshi Sinha has quit Twitter after being embroiled in the nepotism row that has emerged after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.
Taking to Twitter, Sinha said she was making the move to “stay away from negativity” and “to protect her sanity”.
Sharing a GIF of Amy Poehler with a peace out sign at an awards show, she said, “The first step to protecting your sanity is to stay away from negativity. And no where more of that than twitter these days! Chalo, im off – deactivating my account. Bye guys, peace out.”
On Instagram, she shared a screen grab of the tweet, with the caption, “Aag lage basti mein… mein apni masti mein! Bye Twitter (Let the fire rage on, I don’t care).”
She has also disabled the comments feature on Instagram.
