Sonakshi compares Bollywood nepotism to other industries

Kangna Ranaut’s appearance on Karan Johar’s chat show earlier this year stirred quite a relevant debate in Bollywood with regards to nepotism. The latest to share her point of view is Sonakshi Sinha.

Sinha told Hindustan Times, “If a doctor’s child wants to become a doctor, nobody has an issue with it. It’s the same when a lawyer’s child becomes a lawyer, but if an actor’s child wants to become an actor, everyone has a problem with it. I don’t understand that.”

The actress believes that being born into the film industry only privileges the star kids with a first chance.

Interestingly, after the debate sparked off between Ranaut and Johar, a number of star kids have reacted defensively including Varun Dhawan, Sonam Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
