Sonakshi Sinha calls for women to speak out

With��the issues of women’s rights and protection in India being protested more than ever, many big names of the Indian film industry are constantly raising awareness. Actress Sonakshi Sinha has recently addressed the issue, and has called out to women themselves to speak up about any injustice that has happened to them or others.

“We are used to keeping mum about injustice, be it in the office or public transport. We ignore the injustice faced by women,”��NDTV reported Sinha stating.

She went on to add, “If you won’t speak up today, you will never be able speak. You are stronger than you think you are. It is time to speak up.”

Sinha will next be seen as the lead in��AR Murugadoss’ ‘Akira’, playing a strong and fiery character.

The actress is a big advocate for women’s rights against sexism, where she also supports MTV’s ‘Girls on Top’ campaign.
