Sonakshi not playing Sidharth’s love interest in ‘Ittefaq’

With Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha finalised for the remake of ‘Ittefaq’, news has it that the latter will not be playing Malhotra’s love interest in the film.

According to reports, a second actress will be joining the cast, which will then open up the script to be based around three of them.

While it is a remake of the 1969 blockbuster, the script has been modified. This is the first time Malhotra and Sinha will be paired together. It will be interesting to see who the second female lead in the film will be.

Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar will produce the film.
