Sonakshi on ignoring Internet trolls

Sonakshi Sinha is gearing up for her next film ‘Noor’, in which she plays a bored entertainment journalist.

In an interview with Deccan Chronicle, Sinha said the role she played in the film was the most relateable to date. She said, “There are many who enjoy what they do, but Noor is not one of them. She doesn’t want to be an entertainment reporter; she wants to make a change. She wants to report about things she feels are important.”

Being in the entertainment industry also attracts a number of admirers as well as haters. Talking about this, Sinha said that people are going to judge you even when they don’t know much about you. She added, “At the end of the day, we know this is what we signed up for. It’s a visual medium, and people are going to judge you without even knowing you. You’re making a film, you’re part of the entertainment industry, and everyone has an opinion in today’s day and age. The best way to deal with it is to understand that you cannot please everyone. I’m not here to please everyone.”

Asked how she dealt with Internet trolls, Sinha concluded, “I don’t deal with them. I reply to trolls when I’m bored. But it’s best to ignore them.”
