Sohail Khan can۪t stop gushing praise about Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The duo has teamed up for the first time for their upcoming movie Freaky Ali۪, and Khanfeels fortunate to have got a chance to work with Siddiqui.

Talking about the movie to Hindustan Times, Khansaid that he wanted to make a film on the game of golf. “People think it’s an elitist game meant for the rich and the privileged. My basic premise for the film was what if someone from the lower strata of the society, in this case an undergarment seller from small town, gets thrown into the vast elitist green acres of golf?,” he said.

“What if this simpleton doesn’t know of the existence of the expert golfer within him? That’s how this film started,” he added.

Khan even mentioned that the film couldn۪t have been possible without the actor, and that Siddiquihas now become more of a family to him and the entire Khan clan.

Freaky Ali۪, also starring Arbaaz Khan, Amy Jackson and Jas Arora, has been co-scripted by Raaj Shaandilya, whom Khan has known since the time he judged the TV reality show, ‘Comedy Circus’. The film is scheduled to release on 9th September.
