Sohail Khan confirms release of Salman Khan starrer ‘Mental’

Many rumours surrounded the release of the much-awaited ‘Mental’ which stars Salman Khan as male lead. However, laying all speculation to rest, director Sohail Khan has confirmed that the movie will not be releasing during Eid.

Talking exclusively to Emirates 24/7, Khan said, “The movie will be released in January 2014”.

Khan also talked about whether he feels under pressure to deliver a 100 crores at the box office with the film. “Whenever Salman is there (in a movie) and if you don�۪t deliver Rs100 crore then it is a matter of concern.��But now I am not chasing any figure. I am enjoying my role as a director and I want my brother to be proud of me”. Khan also confirmed that the film would remain its title, despite reports that a change was going to be taking place.

Well, perhaps that will now set it all to rest. It seems the film’s troubled days are well and truly over.
