Soha Ali Khan has appeared in films such as ‘Rang De Basanti’ (2006), ‘Mumbai Meri Jaan’ (2008) and ‘Go Goa Gone’ (2013) to name a few. However Khan feelsher full potential may never be tapped into.

Reported in the Indian Express, Khan says the filmmakers offer her more “gritty and thinking roles”.ʉI am offered more gritty and thinking roles but I do enjoy it. I like performance-oriented roles. I don۪t have an agenda as far as acting is concerned. I want to do films that have good content.۝

Further adding,ʉI don۪t think my potential will ever be tapped but that۪s OK. I want to work with good directors, I don۪t know if I will get that opportunity. Also, I don۪t know if I will get to do a negative role or a biopic. I want to do these things.۝

Khan denies that she has she stayed away from doing commercial films.ʉWhen you do certain kind of films, you are offered more those kinds of films. I am offered more content driven films or that has a social message. I have done some entertaining films but these offers are less.”

It۪s not a conscious decision that I won۪t do commercial films as these films have a good budget, you look good,۝ says Khan.

Khan will next be seen on our screens with ’31st October’, a film based on the aftermath after Indira Gandhi’s assassination, set to release on 7th October.
