Society Global Indian Icon Awards 2019 Winners List

In keeping with its editorial philosophy and to celebrate the global success stories of Indian Icons from different fields, Society magazine hosted its annual Society Global Indian Icon Awards in London. The icons were chosen from the field of business, philanthropy, art, music, food, sports, law, medicine, education, amongst others.

Held on Wednesday 10th July at Hotel Montcalm in London, it was a showcase of India’s rising stature in the world and a celebration of how Indians as global citizens have excelled across the globe.

The Awards brought together thinkers and high achievers from diverse fields who also participated in the Society Thought Leadership Forum. Renowned Bollywood film actor Shabana Azmi and noted film writer & lyricist Javed Akhtar were Chief Guests for the evening, alongside leading businessman Gopichand Hinduja, Dr Kartar Lalwani, global humanitarian Meera Gandhi, King of Mcdonalds chain Mr Atul Pathak, legal luminary Sarosh Zaiwalla and many other well known personalities from UK and India also attended the show.
