Sneha Rajani replaces Ajit Thakur at Sony TV

It’s change at the top for Sony Entertainment Television in India. Out goes Ajit Thakur and in Sneha Rajani, who replaces Thakur as the new Business Head of the channel.

Sneha who has been with Multi Screen Media for the past ten years, moves from her role as Senior EVP of the MAX channel. She has been the key force behind making the Indian Premier League one of the biggest successes for Multi Screen Media. Sneha۪s move to SET is a clear example of the organisation۪s policy of rewarding its best people and putting them in the most challenging roles. Sneha will continue to manage all operations pertaining to the IPL and film acquisitions.

Neeraj Vyas, who currently heads Ad Sales for GECs, will now move to MAX as EVP & Business Head for the channel. Neeraj is also an old-timer at MSM and has played several key roles within MSM۪s Ad Sales structure. He has played an important role in growing revenues for SET and thus contributing in a big way to the success of the Network. Neeraj۪s move sets another example of the organisation giving opportunities to its top performers beyond their core functions.

Ajit Thakur has been with the organisation as Business Head of Sony TV India since July 2008.
