Sneak Peek: BizAsia catches up with Arjun-Alia in London

Earlier today, BizAsia had the opportunity to speak with Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt who were in London for promotions of their forthcoming movie, ‘2 states’.

Talking about whether they had read the book of the same name upon which the movie is based, written by Chetan Bhagat, Kapoor told BizAsia, “I hadn�۪t read the book, but I had read the script, and I though I should read the book, but my producer told me not to,��and to just stick with the script so that my ideas about my character stay focused to that”.

Bhatt also commented, “Yes, I read the book quite some time ago, and really liked it. I really felt that his book should be turned into a film”.

Although Bhatt had been to London in February to promote ‘Highway’ (2014), this was Kapoor’s first time partaking in international promotions of his film. He excitedly said, “This is my first time coming to London to promote a film, so it�۪s a completely different experience for me and it�۪s amazing”.
