SLB rubbishes rumours of signing Sushant Singh Rajput

Post the success of ‘Kai Po Che’ (2013), there have been many reports doing the rounds regarding debutante actor Sushant Singh Rajput. One such report was that Singh Rajput had been approached by Sanjay Leela Bhansali for a role which he had turned down. It seems Bhansali’s team have taken these reports personally and have outright denied any such thing.

According to Business of Cinema, an insider from the production house has reportedly said, “Mr Bhansali has made no such statements and has no idea where it is coming from. He has only met Sushant a couple of times. He has not offered him any role. At the moment he is busy shooting ��Ram-Leela�۪ with Ranveer Singh. He is also producing a television series ��Saraswatichandra�۪. At the end of�� the year Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions will start another film with Akshay Kumar. Where is the room for any other project, or actor?”

With that cleared up, one wonders whether Dharma Productions will do a similar thing as rumours of him Singh Rajput being signed by Karan Johar have also been disputed. Wait and watch at BizAsia for all the updates.
