SLB to collaborate with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures for a new project?

It seems that Sanjay Leela Bhansali doesn’t want to waste anytime. With ‘Padmaavat’ (2018) finally released, the filmmaker is already looking forward to his next project.

According to Deccan Chronicle, Bhansali is reportedly teaming up with Viacom18 Motion Pictures again for another production. With the rollercoaster ride of ‘Padmaavat’, Bhansali wasn’t really up for celebrating the success, a close source said, “It’s been one hell of a journey – he’s already moved on.”

Further adding, “What kept him going through these months of nightmarish ordeal was his producers; they were fully supportive and always receptive to Sanjay’s agony and pain.”

The source gave away that this new project will also be on a grand scale. “It will be yet another big-budgeted musical epic. Bhansali can’t think small — even when his films have been designed as modestly budgeted as ‘Black’ and ‘Guzaarish’ were, they have turned out to be massive in scale. Ideally, after Padmaavat, Bhansali would like to do something smaller. But he can’t. Viacom is already looking at a budget of approximate  Rs 150 crore to Rs 175 crore for their next film with Sanjay.”
