SLB annoyed about Ranveer-Deepika’s lip-lock photo?

After the many controversies that ‘Padmavati’ has faced, it seems Sanjay Leela Bhansali is frustrated about the recent photograph that has gone viral of the film’s leads Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in a lip-lock.

Bhansali had told the cast and crew of the film to be careful as he didn’t want for the film to hit the headlines for the wrong reasons again. The two actors, who are in a relationship, have been spotted together recently a few times but it’s the kiss picture which has irked Bhansali. A source revealed to Asian Age, “He doesn’t care whether Ranveer and Deepika are seeing each other. He just wanted them to be discreet about public appearances together. He wanted to avoid the image of the two actors as a couple, as this could harm the film, where their hostility and not their compatibility is the driving force”.

A different source also divulged, “At a time when the film’s anxious producers, Viacom 18 Motion Picture, and Sanjay himself want to ensure those protesting against the film that the two have no scenes together, a picture of them getting cosy in public is eminently avoidable, to say the least”.

The film also stars Shahid Kapoor and is slated for release on 17th November.
