Sky Sports to allow customers to pause subscription during coronavirus

Sky Sports has announced that it will permit customers to pause their subscriptions during the coronavirus outbreak.

The global pandemic has led to major sporting fixtures being postponed or scrapped this year, which has impacted Sky Sports’ TV schedule. The broadcaster has confirmed that it will let customers to temporary halt their subscription without any penalty.

It said, “While we expect that many of the recently postponed sports events will eventually go ahead, if you wish to pause your sports subscription in the meantime you will not be charged a fee to do so or be held to any notice period.

“Meanwhile we continue to provide high quality content across all of our 11 sports channels.”

Recently, Euro 2020, French Open, Grand National, English Football League, Scottish football, rugby league, Formula 1, Indian Premier League and The Masters have all been delayed.
