Sky Arts airs Star Plus’ ‘Prithviraj Chauhan’
Sky Arts has acquired the rights to broadcast Star Plus’ classic costume drama ‘Prithviraj Chauhan’.
The show ran between 2006 and 2009 on Star Plus. It portrays the life of Prithviraj Chauhan, the famous 12th century ruler in India. The drama is based on Prithviraj Raso, the Apabhramsha poem by Chand Bardai.
‘Prithviraj Chauhan’ is now being re-run from series one on Sky Arts 2 between midday and 13:00 weekday afternoons. Its the first Hindi drama to telecast on the English channel.
