Simran Budharup on parents’ reaction when she quit veterinary studies for acting

We often dream of stepping into ten different professions in our initial days, but destiny takes it’s own turn and people often land in doing something that we haven’t even imagined. And here we have a similar story of the actress Simran Budharup who’s doing extremely well on the small screen in ‘Pandya Store’ and has become a household name due to her great acting quality. But the actress talks about how her perspective has changed towards the career as she wanted to become something else in her childhood.

Firstly, the actress expressed why she loves being an actress, “Because I can do what I love the most, that is acting. When I stand in front of the camera that nervousness gives me a different kick. I wanted to be a Doctor, A Mountaineer, a tattoo artist but now I’m an actor and now all I can or want to do is this only.” shares the actress

For the unversed, the actress was studying veterinary but quit her studies in the mid-way. On asking, were her parents mad at her for giving importance to acting over academics which she chose previously to which the actress states, “I was pursuing my veterinary studies and at that time I used to also teach dance. There I came across a person who is an acting coach who offered me to teach acting, that’s how I gave him an audition and got selected thereafter. So I told my Mumma that I wanted to get into this. My parents were completely okay with my decision of quitting veterinary studies, my dad even told me to pursue the career of my choice and do whatever I feel like till I grow old (laughs).”

On the work front, the actress has been a part of well-known shows like ‘Nazar’ and ‘Parvarrish 2’.
