The Indian film industry is full of competition, so when talking of ‘Student of The Year’ (2012) trio Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra, one soon finds out that the situation is quite the contrary.

Having ‘Ek Villain’ (2014) perform well at the box office Malhotra is in high spirits. Whilst talking to the media, he expresses his high hopes for his friends’ Bhatt and Dhawan’s next venture ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhuniya’. “I want to see ‘Humpty’. I have heard Alia’s song recently and she has sung really well. She has a great voice. I hope it’s a big success,” NDTVreported the actor stating.

When asked about any competition between the three, Malhorta went onto say, “Me, Alia and Varun feel like we’ve gone to school together. Why would we compete among ourselves when there’s so much (work for everyone). We have different and unique styles and films. It’s tough to make friends in the industry.”

Their friendship has been very evident ever since their debut film, and with friendships ending abruptly being something of a norm in Bollywood, here’s hoping this trio doesn’t follow suit.
