Sidharth Malhotra & Virat Kohli become Skills India ambassadors

As a Prime Minister, he is known for his drastic steps in making India progress as a country, so it comes to no surprise that Narendra Modi has agreed to have Sidharth Malhotra and cricket star Virat Kohli as brand ambassadors for his Skills India Mission.

Upheld by Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Union Minister of State, Skills India Mission is a campaign run by the government to promote the youth of India to develop their skills in order to be employable in a work place. Deccan Chronicle reports Rudy explain the motive of the campaign and having the two stars on board, “The youth of the nation will be motivated to perform in their everyday lives, like these icons Virat Kohli and Sidharth Malhotra, who have earned their places with their talent and respective skills.”

Manish Kumar, MD and CEO of National Skill Development Corporation, also added, “The idea of having Virat and Sidharth on board was to reach out to the youth, who consider them their icons.”
