Sidharth Malhotra & Shraddha Kapoor set to reunite in ‘Malang 2’?

After the success of ‘Malang’ earlier this year, work is already underway for its sequel.

While the first film scored big at the box office with Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani leading the cast, it is reported that the sequel will have an all-new lead pair. Pinkvilla reports that Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor could take forward ‘Malang 2’.

A source told the publication, “They are going to have a fresh on screen pairing for part two. They are very clear about it. Shraddha was already told about Malang 2 when she was brought in to do the little voiceover. Now, they have decided to not repeat the leads. They might come in for cameos, but the leads will be different.”

The source added, “Sidharth is on top of their list. They are waiting for the lockdown to get over to pitch it to him. Mohit has just finished the script and since he has a good relationship with Sid, he will take it forward from here.”

Incidentally, Suri is currently working on the pre-production of ‘Ek Villain 2’.
