The Indian cinemagenerates almost 1,000 movies a year and they have started to appear even more visually appealing due to a growing ability to access scenic, exotic locations both within India and abroad. Of course, this means that Bollywood actors and actresses are now becoming even more well-travelled due to their shooting schedules. Popular Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra who made his debut with Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year'(2012), reveals how he is fond of travelling as it allows him to meet new people, appreciate different cultures and experience delicious food whilst on his various expeditions.

According toThe Indian Express,Malhotra made an appearance at the 5th LonelyPlanetMagazine Awards, where he shared a few words, “I like travelling a lot. It۪s very important for a person to travel. You get to learn a lot and see a lot, your personality develops.”

Apparently, the actor of ‘Ek Villain'(2014) and ‘Kapoor and Sons'(2016) fame, has enjoyed such travels from a young age due to his father’s influence and career choice. “My father was in the Merchant Navy, so I gotnumerous opportunities to travel to various ports, to go on ships and visit the seas. I learnt a lot, got to see different people, cultures, food, clothes_ I think that is what has made me into this personality today,۝ he added.

Unfortunately, an actor’s shooting schedule can also sometimes interfere with such personal plans and holidaying, the young heartthrobdelved further, “Whenever I get the opportunity, I wish to go somewhere, but nowadays I’m working so I can’t.”

Malhotra, who was spotted abroad on vacation with rumoured girlfriend, Alia Bhatt, earlier this year, was asked whom he would like to take along for company on his journeys to make the experience more romantic, to which he replied, “All my travels are romantic. The company obviously matters during travel. I like to travel alone at times. If you go on a train ride alone, there is a different kind of romance in it. But of course, for company, I always love to have friends along.”
