Sidharth Malhotra rejecting films with Jacqueline Fernandez?

Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez’s ‘A Gentleman’ (2017) might not have pulled in the audience to the theaters, but their on-screen chemistry has attracted many filmmakers. Malhotra has been offered films with Fernandez in the lead, but has refused the same because they wouldn’t help his career.

Pinkvilla reports a source saying, “Sidharth and Jacqueline looked good together in A Gentleman. Hence, a lot of filmmakers rushed to sign them together. When Jacqueline gave the nod for this film provided she got a good male co-star, Sidharth did not feel that the script suited his requirements of films that could take his career upwards. So, he refused the film.”

Meanwhile, Malhotra will next be seen in ‘Ittefaq’ opposite Sonakshi Sinha, which is slated for a 3rd November release.
