Sidharth Malhotra opens up about break-up with Alia Bhatt

Though they reportedly started dating in 2016, their relationship was the talk of the town ever since they debuted together in ‘Student of the Year’ (2012). Sidharth Malhotra has finally come out and spoken of his break up with Alia Bhatt.

In the latest episode of Karan Johar’s talk show ‘Koffee With Karan’, Malhotra spoke candidly about what went wrong. “We haven’t met after it. Our relationship is civil. I don’t think it’s bitter. It’s been a while. I have known her for much longer even before we dated. I gave my first ever shot with her in SOTY, I was crazy, and there is so much history,” DNA India reported the actor stating.

He went on to add, “There is a reason why two people decide not to be together. There were lots of ups and downs. When you take yourself from a situation, you look at all the happy and good memories.”

Working closely with Ranbir Kapoor for their forthcoming ‘Brahamastra’, Bhatt is now in what seems to be a serious relationship with Kapoor. Malhotra on the other hand seems to be enjoying the batchelor life.
